A Poem About God

I borrow not from words I know,

For God has sown the path I sow.

My hurt heart feels ever so vain,

Now that my troubles are all slain.

You must open your heart and cry,

If you are to have your reason why.

Kill all the sin that you can find,

And leave all the vanity behind.

This world is The Evil One’s place,

And yet the Lord protects our race.

Praise Him always and every day,

For His light is in every sun ray.

Do not harden your heart, friend,

Love righteousness until the end.

Blessed be the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, both now and forever, and unto ages of ages, amen.

Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation.

Thank you.
