I completely agree with your analysis. I’ve read enough literature in the spiritual self help section to say that, other than canonical texts, it is mostly cheap and self-serving fluff. Tolle is at the bottom of the bin, I would rather read Alan Watts or Osho any day. Or I would read actual canonical texts like the Diamond Sutra.
