It's a TV show... of course it is going to portray men badly. The socio-cultural demonization of men is exactly what has left men so alienated and defeated. (Thank you, because you've given me something to write about)

With such a large platform as yours, I'd expect more nuance than this.

Women largely seem to assume that men's inability to find a partner is entirely their own fault, when clearly women are the ones rejecting men. Not only this, but you have to attribute some personal responsibility to women too, who have such impossible standards that it discourages men from even trying. There's much more to be said on that.

I can admit that there are many weak men, and they come out of households of weak men. That is the CORE issue that has to be addressed! Men are tired of the humiliation they face when women nitpick at them. That's why they're not trying as hard as they used to. This affects women too!

Before we paint an issue with a broad brush, we must be able to acknowledge that this is a two-way street. Otherwise, you're just issuing a politically correct screed against half the population.
